After 14 years of teaching, I am very excited to be teaching 2nd grade for year #9 at RCW! As an alumni of RCW it is a great joy and honor to be teaching in my hometown. After my husband and I got married in 2006 we moved up to Alaska where I taught for 6 years. We loved it up there and had 3 children while away, but the pull to be near our family was too great. When the opportunity arose to move "home" we took it. We have spent the last 8 years raising our kids in this great community and I am honored to serve it in the capacity with which I have been afforded.
It is my hope that when students leave my classroom that my influence doesn't end, that they continue to "choose joy" and come back and visit me. Thank you for the privilege of serving your children!
