• Many Hands Make Light Work

Renville County West Student Council is a student-centered organization. We are a bridge that connects students to other students, teachers, staff and administrators. Renville County West High School believes in a strong connection to the community, and works towards keeping the values of our community in our school.

This year the Student Council Advisor position is shared between Mrs. Kramin and Mrs. Elfering. We are excited to bring new activities to the students this year, and other activities that haven't been done in awhile. Our Student Council has a great team of students working together for the good of RCW and its Student Body.

    Student Council Activities 2015-2016

The school year begins with Homecoming activities. Our theme is "Turn Back the Hands of Time: Travel Through Homecoming 2015!" Because RCW is a combination of several schools, we have invited past Kings and Queens from our area schools to participate in the coronation ceremony this year.

Student Council members are busily making a time machine for our candidates to walk out of as they enter the stage for the crowning of our new King and Queen, and other decorations are being crafted to encourage school spirit. Activities will begin with dress up days and a pepfest, a cross country meet, volleyball and football games, and a bonfire to end the week of festivities.

Candidates this year are: Brady Holwerda, Colin Thompson, Sean Grosklags, Hayden Johnson, Libby Groen, Analisa Zaske, Mandy Zetah, and Emma Kronlokken.

Come join the celebration on Monday, September 21st at 7:30 pm in the small gymnasium at RCW.
