Hello! Welcome to my RCW Science class website.  I'm Ms. Ebbers.  I've been teaching science since 2007 and have been a teacher at RCW since 2018.  This year I will be teaching a Natural Disasters elective class for grades 9-12, Earth Science for the 9th graders, Physical Science for the 8th graders, and one section of Life Science for the 7th grade.  I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education and am licensed to teach general science to grades 5-8 and Earth & Space Science to grades 9-12. I hope to encourage students to discover and explore the world we live in while guiding them to develop critical thinking skills to help them solve their own problems.  When I'm not at school teaching or coaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and I love exploring the outdoors, hiking or kayaking.  I also enjoy nature photography.  

Here is information parents and students should know about their science classes: Student class announcements and links for their assignments will be posted on their science Google Classroom.  Students should check emails and posts on their science Google Classroom daily to keep up with assignments and to receive notifications. If you have any questions about the class, please let me know.
