Hi all! My name is Maci Markfort. I will be your child’s fourth grade teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.
I grew up in Winterset Iowa where I graduated in 2012, chased my dream of being a teacher at Bemidji State and graduated in the Spring of 2017, and found my perment school family here at RCW the Fall of 2017.
I met the love of my life here in the area, Quentin and I were engaged July 2, 2019 and were married October 03, 2020. We enjoy spending time outside, fishing (ice or open water), tent camping at a nearby State Park, catching up on anything Food Network & trying new things. We welcomed the joy of our lives. Pyper Lea Markfort on December 13, 2022. We are loving our new life of parenthood.
We do lots of fun & exciting things in fourth grade, but to list a few; we learn double digit multiplication, we learn to long divide, we learn & study the states and capitals, and students get to research and present a state report. I believe in a very hands on learning style, I cannot wait to learn all year long from each and everyone of your children!
Our classroom is always looking for extra; student scissors, notecards, Post-Its, and erasers (big & pencil toppers), cleaning wipes, and tissues. Anything donated to our classroom directly helps your students & their education. I also update our classroom Amazon Wish List as things come up. I am always looking for new/fun/exciting books to add to our classroom library to encourage reading. Feel free to check that out if you are intreseted in helping out in ANY way.
Meet the Teacher-- I really look at our classroom as our family, so WELCOME-- here is a sneak peek into my life
Daily Schedule--please try and schedule appointments AWAY from CORE time

Hello,
My name is Jiana Robertsdahl. I was born and raised on the family farm by the small town of Clontarf, Minnesota. I graduated from Benson, MN. I went to college at Willmar Community College (Ridgewater) and Moorhead State University (Minnesota State University-Moorhead). I have licensures in elementary education (K-6) and special education in the areas of specific learning disabilities (SLD) and emotional/behavioral disorders (E/BD) for kindergarten through twelfth grade. I have experience in teaching special education, kindergarten, fourth grade, fifth grade, Title I, and English language (ELL). I have been teaching for twenty-one years.
My parents still live on the family farm. I was the middle child of five girls. All my sisters are married with two children and live within traveling distance to visit. My husband and I were married in August of 2013 and live on a farm by Hawk Creek.
In my spare time, I like to read, walk, watch TV, ride four-wheeler, bake, and spend time with family including my great nephews and nieces. During the summer, I spend time fishing with my husband although he does all the work.
I look forward to a great year.
Mrs. Robertsdahl
